Par Lai Lake in Phuket for one angler

Par
Lai Lake in Phuket is
without a doubt the most idyllic and beautiful fishing park in
Thailand, with tropical vegetation along the banks of the main
lake and all of its smaller channels. Another bonus is that the
lake hasn't been fished for 7 years which makes the fish
extremely curious and not all hook-shy. Striped
Catfish are the speciality of this park, with the lake holding
several potential world records. The current IGFA world record for
this species is 10.4 kg. On several occasions, anglers landed
bigger fish than this but have never claimed the record. Any
thoughts of getting your name in the IGFA world record book?

Charter for Thai Baht 5,000.- (US$ 120.-):
Top
of the line luxury share charter on top quality local or
imported boats with highly experienced captains and crew.
All boats have toilets, electronic fish finders, outriggers,
downrigger, fighting chair, live bait well, Penn
or Shimano fishing equipment, a vast collection of lures and
all safety features.
Several
of these boats have won trophies in international fishing
tournaments. As many as 9 lines can be trolled,
depending on weather and fishing techniques.
It
is also possible to target Black Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna and
Sharks at the drop off area 40 kilometers south west of Phuket
on these boats.
We
offer these trips for a maximum of 4 anglers but you are welcome
to bring along one non-fisherman free of charge.
This
trip includes transport to and from Club Bamboo, all the fishing
equipment and bait, fresh fruit snacks and lunch, soft drinks,
water and……beer!
Shared
Charter for Thai Baht 3,000.- (US$ 72.-):
Good
boats that have electronic fish finders, fighting chair,
outriggers, live bait well and Penn or Shimano fishing equipment.
Up to 7 lines can be trolled. With these boats it is also
possible to target Black Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna and Sharks at the drop off area 40 kilometers south west
of Phuket.
We
offer these trips for a maximum of 6 anglers, but non-fishermen
are welcome to join for only Thai Baht 1,500.- (US$
36.-).
You
are welcome to take most species back to Club Bamboo for your
dinner. The chefs can prepare them with special Thai herbs and
fried rice.
